I love the oceans and the underwater world. I am particularly fond of sharks because they are so fascinating, elegant, highly efficient and essential to the survival of the marine ecosystem. Apart from that, we depend on healthy oceans for both oxygen and food, no matter where we live.

Do you have any special skills, experiences or adventures?

• My fascination with sharks came from diving and a SHARKPROJECT lecture by Gerhard Wegner and Dr Erich Ritter over 15 years ago.
• I have been diving since 2002, I am a PADI Rescue Diver and I love to take pictures - above and underwater.
• My 20 years of project management experience in US IT companies also help me run the association.
