Why is shark protection or marine conservation important to you?
Sharks, with their position at the top of the food chain, are essential for healthy and functioning ecosystems. Our oceans are some of the most fragile and beautiful habitats. The thought of losing these habitats and numerous species for our next generations leaves me speechless and sad. That's why I want to work to ensure that there will still be an ocean ecosystem to marvel at in the future and that more species will be preserved.

It seems to me that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty; the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living.
